National Unity in Basra, Ahrar Bloc

 In complying with Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr and to enhance the national unity between the Iraqi people, a unified Friday prayer was held by Sunnis and Shiites in Basra province in the mosque of Martyr Taha. The prayer in which the Secretary-General of the Ahrar bloc, Dr. Diaa al-Asadi and the head of the Ahrar bloc Mr. Mazin al-Mazini, assistant of governor of Basra, Mr. Muhannad Al-Sa'ad, member of the provincial council, Mr. Kadhim al-Musawi, the engineer Mr. Haydar al-Sa'edi and the delegation accompanying them attended.
