Imam Sadiq (pbuh) had responded to many questions of various topics

Q/ Why are there cavities in the head?
A/ if the head does not have hollows it will be exposed to headache, so God made these cavities to have the head away of such diseases.
 

Q/ Why does God make the hair over the head?
A/  through hair, oils can reach to the brain,  while steam goes out through edges of the hair.
 

Q/ Why is the forehead empty of hair?
A/  because it is considered the mouth of the light to both eyes. God created lines inside the forehead so that sweat came from the head could be imprisoned as much as Man remove it away from himself, just like rivers on the earth which imprison water.
 

Q/ Why are eyebrows put on the eyes?
A/ They are put on the eyes to repel strength of light, you see , when someone faces strong light he will put his hands on  his eyes to have them see as possible as they can. Nose is created between the eyes, for classifying light into two parts to make eyes able to see things properly.
 

Q/ Why does God make holes of the nose from the bottom?
A/ because waste matters can be got rid of from the brain, and at the same time nice smells go up through. To suppose the holes are from the top, such matters can not be able to get out of the organ.
